Talini was started to solve a simple problem – everybody wants to look good, but you need to spend an extreme amount of time and effort to find unique and affordable clothes that fit you well. Not everybody has this time, but they still deserve to look their best, without feeling left out.

For Saira Elsa Kurian, online shopping and curation were a hobby, but for her husband Sharath C George and other friends and family, it was a pain, making her end up as a personal shopper for them. One day they had a conversation over home-brewed coffee and decided to combine both perspectives and create a brand.

Talini is meant to be a brand that focusses on the experience of shopping rather than fleeting fads. We release carefully curated, limited designs, and do not restock or repeat even bestselling designs. We hand-pick fabrics with unique prints, and get our clothes hand stitched by charitable trusts that work towards generating employment for underserved women in Bangalore, a model we are working hard to scale up with our partners Srujna and IDF. We are also obsessive about customer care, and making amends if we get anything wrong.

We believe fashion can be stylish, inclusive and ethical, without resorting to fear inducing marketing tactics. We hope you help prove us right.
